Data Privacy

The Austrian Society for Plastics Engineering (GFKT) takes the protection of its members’ personal data seriously. It has taken technical and organizational measures to ensure that the statutory provisions on data protection are observed and complied with both by itself and by external service providers.

The collection, processing, use and disclosure of member data is solely for the purpose of fulfilling the association’s obligations. The affected member of the association has the possibility to inform himself at any time about the use and whereabouts of his data.
The member of the association has the right to revoke a given consent at any time and to demand the deletion of his data, according to Art. 17 DSGVO.

Partners of the GFKT and third parties are protected in the same way by the compliance with data protection regulations by the responsible persons of the association. There is no sale or gratuitous transfer of data of third parties or partners of the association, unless there is a corresponding consent or a direct association purpose.

If external service providers are engaged to whom personal data must be made available, it is ensured by the conclusion of a corresponding contract that the data protection provisions are complied with in the same manner.

In the event of revocation or notification of incorrectly collected data, they will be deleted immediately, according to Art. 21, 18 DSGVO. The right of appeal to a data protection supervisory authority (Art. 77 DSGVO in conjunction with § 19 BDSG) is expressly pointed out.
